Cecilia Anthony joins Inside Policy as General Manager, Advisory Services

ToInside Policy is pleased to confirm Cecilia Anthony in the role of General Manager, Advisory Services.

Having worked in Indigenous policy, advocacy, and affairs for over twenty years, Cecilia brings extensive experience to our team. Says Shane Hamilton, Managing Director, “We are very fortunate and excited to have Cecilia lead our Advisory team at Inside Policy. Having worked as a senior public servant, ministerial advisor and a consultant, she brings a wide range of perspectives to our work.”

Most recently Cec worked with Indigenous consultancy, Murawin, where she was Principal Consultant and prior to that as Director of consulting firm Cultural Perspectives.

Leading the Murawin team to work with the Australian Government and Dr Terri Janke on national consultations with Indigenous stakeholders on the 2021 State of the Environment Report which has Indigenous co-authors for the first time.

Securing multi-year funding for Tiddas in Business to provide start up and step up supports for Indigenous women in business over the next three years.

Leading the national stocktake of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health resources for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.

Working with the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation on national consultations in 2018 on changes to legislation to set up the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land and Sea Future Fund and extend sphere of operations to include water for the first time.

NSW Government’s inaugural Aboriginal employment and procurement policies.

Constitutional recognition of Aboriginal people as the first people of NSW.

Obtaining multi-year funding to provide multicultural NDIS information resources to fill existing gaps in availability.

Cec will be familiar to many of you as she worked with us as a consultant across numerous projects in recent years.
